So yeah, I created a world in Creative, planted both mushroom types on mycelium blocks, and bone mealed 'em. Then I made me a diamond axe with Silk Touch and chopped both mushrooms down.

Apparently there's only one block you can get from doing this now, which has the beige texture on all dies. You used to be able to get blocks with all the mushroom textures on them, including red, brown, white and beige textures.

Previously, there used to be very many block types you could get from Silk Touch-ing huge mushrooms, and not only did they have buggy behaviour (when you gathered them they all formed in one stack, but upon closing and re-opening your inventory, they formed into numerous stacks), but it was very confusing placing them because you never knew texture would be on which sides of the block.

But the amount of block types you would get from huge mushrooms could be scaled down to 3, and they would then be placed like logs or pistons are placed.

This was supposed to be a bug report, but I supposed it turned into sort of like a feature suggestion? I don't know, but either way you used to be able to get more from the huge mushrooms.
