Place a piston
Place the Redstonebocks in the order shown in the picture.
Remove them in the same order.

Now you have an unpowered but extracted piston in Minecraft vanilla.
That sucks.

That is just one of many piston bugs in minecraft and that is really annoying because it breaks so many contraptions.
