17w14a doLimitedCrafting(true) Changing gamemode to Adventure Mode and back to Survival breaks crafting

      I often change gamemode from Survival to Creative without issue. But this time I changed to Adventure Mode briefly. Upon changing back to Survival crafting was completely broken.

      To recover I had to delete all /playerdata/ and /stats/ for the affected character and reload the world.
