Local server hosting + playing, Pc specs: I7 4470k @3.5Ghz, 20 Gb of ram @1300hz, 1gb for Minecraft default amount for server. server and game both updated to 17w13a from 17w06a

I updated my local client and the server to the newest version now when I joined the world which was created in 17w06a, I couldn't craft anything. the new crafting book icon was "grayed out" opening showed nothing. next to that the advancements tab was broken. the server log said:

Which hints at the fact it doesn't load any advancements.

When creating a new world (single player) the recipe book works fine as well as the advancements.
