I've been playing some hardcore minecraft and noticed a rather annoying and sometimes fatal bug. Zombies are spawning in lit areas. I died a few times before, restarted a few games. Now on my current one, I built an automated potato farm. The space under the potato farm is perfectly lit, and I took great pains to inspect each and every block for light level 8 and above. I was standing outside of the fence gate leading into the area under the farm and witnessed a zombie spawning in the middle. This shouldn't be possible. It isn't a zombie horde event either, as most of the time it happens during day and there isn't a single door for 1k blocks, so there are no villages. This happens on basic, unmodded minecraft. After it happened I loaded up my forge mod version with a light level overlay to double check each block. As you can see, there are no red numbers, which means no dark blocks. It only seems to be happening underneath this particular farm, too. Zombies aren't spawning inside the farm, or even in the main area of my compound, which is also lit by a jack-o-lantern placed under a leaf block every four blocks. Please look into this issue, as it's very irritating having mobs spawning where they shouldn't be able too.
