My mcpc servers won't load no matter what I try

What I expected to happen was...:
Describe what you thought should happen here
I expected to get into the game click on multiplayer click on whatever server I wanted to play on

What actually happened was...:

Describe what happened here
what actually happen was every server had red bars next to it and when I tried loading them it said "internal exception: java.lang.Null pointer exception"

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Put a step by step guide on how to trigger the bug here

2. ...load game any version
3. ...click multiplayer and load a server

note, that before this new launcher, I was able to get into servers just fine with no problems at all. Very frustrated.
