The new update is REALLY buggy.
I expected to log into minecraft like I do every other day.
A new launcher came up and I was like okay, so i went into my 1.8 world. When I got in the terrain was all different and the ladders were gone and so was my house. I got scared for my main world, which is in 1.11.2, so I went to switch versions. I switched it and it just says "couldn't be reached" or something like that. Then the launcher closes. You shouldn't have changed the launcher, sure it may be cool but the old one was less buggy, and it made more sense.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open the launcher
2. Press "play"
3. See what happens next, for me it crashed the new launcher and I can't play my favorite game.
