Effects have a level max input of 255, however the effects no longer increase after 127. At 127 level the effect is at its highest point, once the level is any higher there is no effect at all.

The only steps required to recreate the problem is:
1. Test effects at different amplifier levels up to 127, they should stop affecting the player once reaching 128 and higher.
