When I updated minecraft to 1.11 from 1.10, all villagers went with the old version (gone). So I went along reacquiring villagers to get some trading done. To my great disappointment, not a single one of my 120+ librarians offered a mending enchantment. So I decided to do some testing to make sure the mending enchantment was gone forever and that is the conclusion I came to testing in 1.11.1 and 1.11.2. I tested over 250 Librarians for their trades, I'm now getting cursed enchantments which is cool, but not a single mending enchantment. I certainly hope this wasn't intentional because now you can't get mending anywhere else. This enchantment isn't found in treasure chests anywhere that I know of in book form. I also went back to 1.10 to confirm that mending was a real thing and I wasn't crazy and sure enough 3 out of 12 librarians offered mending. One even offered it as two of his trades, one cheaper than the other, (I bet he spit in the cheaper one that sly man).
Can this be fixed at all? Or the likelihood of getting mending books from villagers upped to something more reasonable that makes it so it isn't completely impossible to get mending?
