Unconfirmed
Latele I've started playing again and my game runs fine for a while then after a bit the ground starts to flicker or even disappear allowing me to see all the caves nearby(which can be kind of useful I found a dungeon this way) The longer I let this happen the more it happens until the game freezes. I found that when it happens I can just save and quit and then open that save again and the issue resolves itself. I did that and then I noticed a torch I placed was invisible so I decided to quit and open again but when I clicked the save file to open it the game crashed. This is all I know and I don't even know if the crash was related to the other problem. I do have a sneaking suspicion that these problems were caused by updating my Java.
What I expected to happen was...:
to open my save file and continue playing
What actually happened was...:
the game closed and offered me a crash report as follows
