Inside the Woodland Mansions, the areas of the building that are underground do not remove the blocks from world generation that spawn in the house near the ceiling. Big stone blocks with ore and other variants of stone that are 4 blocks tall and fill the ceiling space above windows are still there. The stone was only there in the second and third stories of the mansion, not the first even though most of the first story was underground.
