Actually this isn't a bug, it's more a problem in general and also I used Minecraft 1.8, not 1.10.2, but I suppose it's the same with 1.10.2.
The issue is that the default minecraft font contains crossed hooks.
I know they're part of the fonts required for whatever language but some people are using them to post ideologically sensitive messages:

The glyphs can be found in minecraft > jar > font > glyph_53.png

Though the symbols are required for this language I wonder if they're worth existing in Minecraft.
I don't want racists to post such dumb messages all the time while I'm playing, so it would be nice if you'd do something about it ![]()
