Screenshot: zombie can't get to me through two open doors! Open trapdoors aren't working for most mobs either. Cows, sheep, and pigs will fall through a 1x1 hole but not through an open trapdoor. Seems like a bug to me. Can't use doors or trapdoors for mob traps at all.
