Slime block edge player dont bounce back

If you hit the edge of a slime block and walk to the side. Then you wont bounce back up but just stand still like if you hit a normal block

What I expected to happen was...:
You should bounce back up like when you hit the rest of the slime block

What actually happened was...:
You dont bounce back up

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Fly above a slime blocks edge
2. Let you fall down
3. Just before hitting the edge walk to any side(works best if you walk to the side of the edge)
