Specifically with mineral blocks (diamond, gold, iron, coal, lapiz, redstone), but could also affect other things that I have not thought of.
When the inventory is full except for one slot, after the blocks are put in the crafting table, if the player tries to shift-click the ingots into the inventory, 8 blocks will be converted to 64 ingots (This will only happen if the stack is not filled to 64, but using another block would cause there to be overflow ingots with no place to go).
