Upon fishing, though uncommon the player may see a particle bug which continues to show the splash particle continuously as the bob of the pole seems to be preforming the animation of landing in the water endlessly.
It will not take effect if it hits a block or mob in the water since it attaches to whatever blocked it.
The bug is encountered completely by chance as far as I have seen it.
