Spectral arrow bug

I was testing out the arrow.
I thought it would have made an outline on mobs.

When i shot it at a cow my screen went black.
I shot a cow and my screen when black, i could not use the menu and use my inventory until the arrows effect ended.

How i did it.
1. Shoot any mod.
2. screen will go black.
3. wait till the arrows effects end.
