All versions of my Minecraft installation crash moments after starting world since version 1.10

      Have tried versions 1.9 and 1.8, they crash in a similar way.
      Have re-installed Java and Minecraft.
      Tried various video options. reducing the render distance does seem to take it a little longer to crash, but it is still moments after startup of the minecraft world.
