Absorption IV from Enchanted golden apples gives 8 yellow hearts for 2 minutes.
if you get hurt, you will lose some of your yellow hearts but all the time that's the Absorption IV is still active, you can eat NORMAL golden apple and its will be back to 8 hearts instant of 2 (or 0 because weaker effects cannot be replaced).
