Okay i already emailed mojang about this they said to report it on reddit, and to js4 or what ever, the bug or glitch or error in the code that im reporting is....rabbits only spawn in deserts and ice spike plains in my mine craft as of 1.9.4 the combat update. i looked for a hour and a half in the survival game i made right after i got the update, couldn't find any, then i made a creative game and flew around for 3 hours still couldn't find any, emailed mojang and then went to bed, today i decided to try again, made a brand new creative game flew around, couldn't find any rabbits until i found a desert. opened my survival game and explored for an hour or two and found a spiked ice plains, the only place i found rabbits besides a desert. all forests, roof forests, taigas, mountains swamps, plains and their biome variants like hills and extremes etc....do not spawn rabbits. just open the game fly around and tell me what you find.....cause i literally only find them in the desert and spiked ice plains.....by the dozens in fact, but any where else.....zero of em. to have to go 4000 blocks to even find a desert or spiked ice plains and then bring them back is super out of the way. pretty sure rabbits should spawn in more than two biomes.....this is annoying. rabbits are great when you start a file because they provide food and help build up leather for books, item frames and early armor....for a survival player like me to not have rabbits is kind of a hindrance. ( i prefer survival, its legit you gotta work at it)
