If you pause the game in F1 Mode, you can see your hotbar in the background even though you're in F1 mode.
Directions:
1. Go into a world
2. Go into F1 mode
3. Pause the game
4. Look at the bottom of the screen
(If you also have the debug screen up, you can notice it easier)
