This snapshot introduced wooden bridges for villages.

However, villages that spawn in deserts do not have wooden bridges over water/rivers. The bridges are made of sandstone.

While wood is scarce in the desert, the villages do have wooden doors, wood fence posts, wood pressure planks, crafting tables, and bookshelves.

As a suggestion, birch planks could be used as they are of similar color scheme to match the sandstone.
