Placing a redstone block 2 meters, or 2 blocks above any piston (sticky, or regular), will activate the piston and turn it's value to 1.
What I expected to happen was the piston will remain at a 0 state, and remain unaffected by the redstone block.
What actually happened was the redstone block powered the piston despite the distance in between them. This only occurs if the block is above the piston.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Place a piston on the ground, unpowered.
2. Place 1 block on top of the piston.
3. Place redstone block on top of previously mentioned block.
4. Break the block in between the piston and the redstone block.
