Chest geometry is interfering with its self, causing flashing geometry (ie: the side planes of the lid is interfering with the side planes of the base of the chest). Have tried it with multiple texture pack with same results. Suggest 1.) Moving sides of base portion of the chest in by 1px or 2.) Creating a "lip" for the base of the chest where the lid would rest on, thereby alleviating the issue.
