I was making custom potions using command blocks and I decided it would be cool if I did it with arrows so I changed the item I was giving myself to 'tipped_arrow'. in my inventory it displayed less time than a normal potion or splash potion but when I used it the potion affect lasted the same amount of time as the potion normally would.
