After playing the new Minecraft 1.16 update, I noticed that maps aren’t working the way there supposed to. When going off the map on locator maps, usually your icon appears on the edge of the map on which direction you went (going off to the right has my icon on the right side of the map, showing that I am currently off the map I’m holding). The bug is when a player goes off the map (the map the player is currently holding) and instead of them remaining on the edge of the map on which direction they traveled off to, it shows them to be in the middle of the map instead of on the edge, indicating that they are not on the map anymore. This has been a problem for me and my friends who are all on the same server who assume that some of us are at the middle of the map when we are not and are off the map.
