I bought the Godzilla DLC to my son as a birthday gift on the Nintendo Switch. He loves Minecraft and Godzilla so it was an easy call. Unfortunately his experience with the DLC so far has been awful.

First he played the mission in which you get to control Godzilla and battle 6 waves of enemies. He died during the last wave and when he tried another run, for some reason, none of the "special moves" were working. He could not use the atomic breath (heat ray) or the spinning tail. We tried everything, even going in Creative mode and then switching back to Adventure, but it didn't work. We end up deleting the save file and creating a new one. It worked.

He completed two "full missions" and collected coins to get 8 Godzilla collectibles. He was so happy!

But then he started "the third episode" based on Shin Godzilla. There is a section that requires you to build "walls" to stop Shin Godzilla from moving. But there is a tutorial for this part in which you need to get the wall item from a chest and place it in a certain spot. He did that, but for some reason, nothing happened. He tried to place a few more but nothing would change. And the worst part is that during this tutorial you cannot move past a certain area until you are able to build that first wall. We haven't figure out how to reset that mission, so he is just stuck in a street and he can't go to far, because the game would always teleport him back to the starting point to complete the tutorial. He got really frustrated.

I thought about deleting that file, but he got really sad that he would have to complete both previous chapters all over again.

I would be really glad if you guys have a way for us to just reset that chapter, or just go back to the Theater lobby where we can select what chapter/movie screen to play.

I have a guess that Minecraft for Nintendo Switch is just not good, but since he enjoys playing on the console we are still giving it a shot.
