Boats completely disappear almost everytime I exit

      I play on Nintendo switch version of bedrock edition. I was riding a boat in a ocean uncovering my map. When I came across land and got out my boat it completely disappeared. It was not invisible and it did not break. It was just not there anymore the very second I got out of it. Please fix this
