My menu and other overworld operations are either lagging or just not rendering whatsoever when I play in Minecraft multiplayer on the Nintendo Switch. It often happens when I am not the host, and have joined someone else's world, and is not an internet issue as I've tried using other WiFi connections with no resolve. It really makes playing multiplayer unenjoyable, and I hope it can be fixed.
