the last week or so i have been unable to play minecraft once i launch the game it works fine until i get to the netherbackground. the main menu and the title screen doesn't appear all i see is the rotating background.  I have upgraded all my drivers for my gpu. removed and reinstalled several times.  

I think i narrowed it down to the GPU i currently use the AMD Radeon HD 7700 series.  anyone have a fix that words? disabling the GPU is a temp fix but the game runs horribly under 10 fps at maximum min settings

is their a way i can go back to the previous update until this is fixed?
