7 texture glitches happened to me (Nikita Naista) in MCPE v0.8.1:

1st - I was cutting a tree (oak logs "changed" to lava blocks; and ice turned
      to empty, black texture)

2nd - I was simply running around my base when most, if not all blocks have a
big part of textures cut out (leaving these spots black).

3rd - Shortly after building a nether brick entrance to my new mine, sand took
the Nether Brick texture, while Nether Brick acquired the Nether Wart
side texture. It was the first time when a block took a texture of a block
or an item that is not in PE.

4th - When I was making screenshots for a wooden World War I style bomber, wood
planks lost the textures. It was happening when I went to the Item
Selection for the wooden stuff to slightly change the bomber. I noticed
that the blocks and items in the inventory showed the glitched texture
(this was not the case in MCPE Demo). The Tripwire stuff was visible.

5th - I descended from the aerial 75x75 mob trap when cobblestone suffered a
fate similar the the 2nd glitch, except I also saw a tree being black and
      nothing more than that.

6th - I saw my wooden Oriental House glitching out from the inside. I noticed
that sides of Crafting Tables (or Furnaces?) turned into Jack o'Lantern
front face. I also saw Tripwire textures again, this time in the place of
      wood.

7th - When I was messing up with SimplySarc's leaf decay code, the glitch
happened again - this time Leaves turned to Wooden planks, but, weirdly,
saving the color. Meanwhile, Glowstone acquired the side workbench texture
and Birch Planks turned into Command Blocks. After that, I wanted to make
the Grass Growing Code mechanism, but I worried of later glitches, and
thus I stopped playing Minecraft PE at all.
